AVAAC Terms and Conditions

1. Membership is £20 annually. OAPs and intermediate (aged 14-16) £12. Juniors £5. membership includes £2 compulsory liability insurance.

2. ALL PERSONS UNDER 14 YEARS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

3. Members can take a friend to fish either water on payment of £3 per day. (Alveston 1 Saturdays excepted).
A)Permits can be obtained from the secretary.
B)Friends must be in the company of a club member.

4. Any member leaving litter, causing nuisance or conduct unbecoming at club waters risks expulsion.

5. Keep nets must be used in all club contests and all fish must be returned to the water after weighing.

6. No fishing prior to any contest. Any person wishing to fish, but not in the contest may fish at referee's discretion.

7. Matches to be fished to NFA match rules.

8. All competitors must fish peg drawn.

9. All contest June - October: Draw 07:15am Fish 08:00 to 12:30pm.

10. All contests November - March: Draw 07:45am Fish 08:30 to 12:30pm.

11. A) Pool optional £5 for all club contests.
B) Pool pries 1-7 members 1st, 2nd; 8 plus members 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

12. Rates for New Year Extravaganza, away and team matches to be fixed by the committee.

13. The heaviest fish has to be caught in a recognised match, other than a scramble on the Alveston waters.

14. All members must be in possession of their membership card when fishing, and must produce it on demand.

15. New Year Extravaganza Contest to be all ticket, and all tickets available 25 October to 25 November inclusive only.

16. The qualification for the New Year Extravaganza contest is 2 bank clearings May and/or June.

17. Any member wishing to make a complaint, or raise any matter not covered by these rules should notify the secretary in writing. The matter will be placed before the committee.

18. Any proposed alteration to these rules must be given to the secretary in writing at least 1 month prior to the AGM.

19. No pre-baiting for pike. Pike will not count in any club contest.
